This is an original 1942 Air Ministry ‘scramble bell’
It would have been on a Royal Air Force aerodrome during World War Two.
This was at a particularly fierce part of World War Two. It is an impressive tribute to the Royal Air Force.
It is made from solid, rust-less nickel silver, it weighs 13 kgs and is in very good condition, note the crisp edging and deeply engraved crest. Complete with its original clapper and clapper rope.
These bells are rare and desirable, to our knowledge this is the only one currently on open sale anywhere.
Includes good P & P within GB. Can be packed and shipped anywhere in the world.
